The Chief Justice of Uganda, Alfonse Owiny-Dollo has appointed Mr James Jumire Ereemye Mawanda , the new Judiciary spokesperson .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ereemye, has been acting Registrar in charge of magistrates\u2019 affairs and data management. He replaces Justice Jamson Karemani who was appointed High Court Judge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn exercise of the powers conferred upon the Chief Justice under Article 133 of the Constitution and in accordance with Section 3 (a) of the Administration of the Judiciary Act, I hereby assign you as public relations officer of the Judiciary, in addition to your duties as a Registrar,\u201d the letter signed by the Chief Justice reads in part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Judiciary Chief Registrar Sarah Langa Siu welcomed Ereemye\u2019s appointment saying the judiciary is keen to keep its public outreach programs and continuous interface with the Ugandan people they serve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
