As Uganda readies to uptake E- mobility transport solutions ,only six days remain for qualified bus \u00a0drivers to submit their applications for \u00a0the\u00a0 first ever comprehensive fully electric operator skilling program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This training program is being conducted by the Science, Technology and Innovation Secretariat \u2013 Office of the President (STI-OP) in partnership with Kiira Motors Corporation (KMC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This program is designed to equip drivers with the knowledge and skills required to operate electric buses safely and efficiently and provide a positive travel experience for passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The program includes both theoretical and practical training sessions. To participate in the skilling program, bus drivers must meet the following eligibility criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n (i) Hold a valid commercial driver’s license with Class \u2013 DE\/DH<\/p>\n\n\n\n (ii) Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a bus driver<\/p>\n\n\n\n For more information for please call :+256-393-517888<\/p>\n\n\n\n Application Deadline : July 31st<\/sup> ,2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n How to apply<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n To apply to participate in the Skilling Programme for Electric Bus Operators, you must send your application through email [hr@kiiramotors.com] before the deadline. No applications will<\/p>\n\n\n\n be accepted after Midnight on 17th July 2023 (as recorded by the mail server).
