Depending on that huge background, Southampton signed Dia. Then, getting detailed info about African players was very difficult as the internet was still in its infancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He, however, signed a one-month contract and could later come on as a substitute in a league game before he was then himself substituted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was very awful and released 14 days later. On checking, he was not anywhere in Senegal and was nowhere close to George Weah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
