Unknown armed men have struck again this time shooting and killing a UPDF soldier was guarding at Ambercourt road with in Gadafi barracks. They also made off with two guns .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The deceased has been identified as RA 110575 sgt eyagu simon peter a updf soldier attached to Gadafi army barracks jinja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to police , the deceased was deployed together with L\/Cpl Kibirige Norico to guard at small gate of Ambercourt road with in Gadafi barracks. At around 7.50pm L\/CPL Kibirige Norico left the guard to go and buy a drink-leaving his gun with the deceased (sgt Eyagu Simon Peter.) Shortly after L\/CPL Kibirige had moved about 30-40 meters, he had the deceased screaming for help. On coming back, he found the deceased lying lifeless without the guns he left him with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe deceased was dressed in an army green t-shirt, and full combat of army camouflage.
