he operation was carried out in the districts of Pallisa, Busia, Tororo, Bududa, Kapchorwa, and Mbale city. According to the NDA officials the pharmacies included R&T & Obaz pharmacies (Palisa); Chriskulany & Spectus pharmacies (Busia), Watibini Investments limited (Nakaloke_Mbale City), Crishma Pharmacy (Bududa), Kasalawo (Tororo), and Sunrise pharmacy limited in Kapchorwa. Gajorin Pharmaceuticals limited, in Malaba was found in possession of government drugs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NDA head of operations Smuel Kyomukama said the pharmacy belonged to an employee of Mulago hospital name withheld. NDA arrested 13 people and impounded drugs worth shillings 104 million Kyomukama said that the suspects will appear in court and charged with various offences including operating pharmacies without a license and unlawful possession of government stores contrary to section 14 of the National Drug Policy and Authority Act and Section 16 of the Penal Code Act respectively. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
