The Electoral Commission has set August 1, 2022 the day for nominations of candidates to contest in the by-election for Member of Parliament for Bukimbiri County and Gogonyo County constituencies .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement issued by EC, the nominations will be carried out at the Office of the Returning Officer in the name districts starting at 9am and ending at 5pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAspiring candidates will be required to fulfill all the requirements for the nomination for Member of Parliament,\u201d reads a statement from EC. The nomination exercise will end on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nominated candidates will conduct campaign meetings for seven (7) days from Wednesday,\u00a0August 3 till Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
