49 that entered the competition .&nbsp; Duncan Mubiru navigated by Musa Nsubuga where in 3<sup>rd<\/sup> position going into day two of the Pearl of Africa rally  while teenage sensation- &nbsp;Mike Mukula Jr put in a good race to keep within touching distance  of the big boys .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other foreign crews competing in the annual even include Kenya \u2018s Karen&nbsp; Patel&nbsp; and Leroy Gomez of Zambia who are also putting up a good showing but a little far behind the Ugandan racers .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uganda\u2019s flagship automakers -Kiira Motors Corporation (KMC) partnered with the &nbsp;Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of Uganda (FMU) to offer shuttle services for the rally drivers in the Kayoola EVs- the fully electric buses made in Uganda .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rally ends today evening .<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Uganda\u2019s Jas Mangat entered day two of the&nbsp;
