<\/td>In the wake of the twin suicide bomb blasts in Uganda’s Capital Kampala -President ,Gen. Yoweri Museveni has come out to reassure the country that Uganda’s armed forces are “coming “for the terrorists wherever they are . He also named the three suicide bombers that killed three Ugandans and injured 33 others majority of them policemen and women who were on duty .

Below is the full statement by the President Museveni;<\/strong>
Today at 10:00hours, some pigs (in reality manipulated and confused Bazzukulu), apparently, blew themselves up, one near the IGG office and the other near CPS. At about 10:30hours, the CMI\/Police squads injured and captured the third terrorist in the area of Katooke, Bwaise with his bomb. He, later, died but gave us very good information before dying. His name is Musa Mudasiri.\u00a0

The bomber of CPS was by the names of Mansoor Uthman and the one of the IGG office is by the names of Wanjusi Abdallah.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0All these are part of the ADF group that attacked Gen. Katumba in June.

As I told the country before, by attacking Gen. Katumba, these terrorists, exposed themselves at a time when our security (anti-crime) infrastructure has improved, compared to what it was in 2018 when I made the speech to Parliament.\u00a0

\u00a0Since the attack on Gen. Katumba, the following has been achieved:\u00a0 (i) Seven (7) have been killed while resisting arrest; (ii) Eighty one (81) have been arrested; and (iii) 3 have been killed by the bombs they were carrying.\u00a0 The two of today were, therefore, running away from being arrested.\u00a0 We have been hunting for them since the Katumba incident.\u00a0

Those\u00a0 killed\u00a0 since\u00a0 the\u00a0 Katumba\u00a0 incident\u00a0 are: Nsubuga\u00a0 Mohammed; Manihaji; Moses\u00a0 Mudasiri\u00a0 (the\u00a0 one\u00a0 of today); Master\u00a0 Lubwama; Juma\u00a0 Saidi; Serwadda\u00a0 Juma; and Amin\u00a0 Kawawa Mustapha. zafari. Apart from\u00a0 hunting\u00a0 the\u00a0 terrorists,\u00a0 the\u00a0 country\u00a0 strategy\u00a0 of vigilance\u00a0 (alertness),\u00a0 is\u00a0 helping\u00a0 to\u00a0 minimize\u00a0 damage.\u00a0 The\u00a0 suicide\u00a0 bombers\u00a0 at\u00a0 both\u00a0 C PS\u00a0 and\u00a0 IGG\u00a0 office\u00a0 were forced\u00a0 to\u00a0 detonate\u00a0 their\u00a0 bombs\u00a0 at\u00a0 the\u00a0 check\u00a0 point\u00a0 of Police\u00a0 outside\u00a0 and\u00a0 also\u00a0 outside\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 IGG\u00a0 office.\u00a0

\u00a0Therefore,\u00a0 the\u00a0 public\u00a0 should\u00a0 maintain\u00a0 vigilance\u00a0 of checking\u00a0 people\u00a0 at\u00a0 entry\u00a0 points\u00a0 to\u00a0 bus\u00a0 parks,\u00a0 hotels, churches, mosques, mark ets, etc.\u00a0

The\u00a0 Police\u00a0 will\u00a0 issue\u00a0 guidelines\u00a0 regarding\u00a0 securing\u00a0 the check points\u00a0 because\u00a0 the\u00a0 checkpoints\u00a0 are\u00a0 protecting the\u00a0 buildings\u00a0 and\u00a0 the\u00a0 occupants.\u00a0 We\u00a0 are\u00a0 working\u00a0 with the\u00a0 neighbours to\u00a0 deal\u00a0 with\u00a0 those\u00a0 operating\u00a0 from outside. They\u00a0 have\u00a0 exposed\u00a0 themselves\u00a0 when\u00a0 we\u00a0 are more\u00a0 ready\u00a0 for\u00a0 urban\u00a0 terrorism.\u00a0 They\u00a0 will\u00a0 perish.
