DNA analysis has confirmed that the decomposed body found in the Onebes’ sceptic tank belongs to Mrs Immaculate Asio Onebe who went missing nine months ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her husband Francis Onebe who has been searching for her frantically all that time is now in police custody as the prime suspect of his wife’s murder. Francis has since January been announcing his wife’s disappearance in the media and sharing CCTV footage of a woman being kidnapped and forced into a ‘Drone’ near their house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This followed the arrest of a guard at the couple’s home at Kaggwa Rise, Lower Mawanga village, in Munyonyo, who vanished the day Asio disappeared. The former guard was spotted by the current guard at the house who arrested him and called police. During interrogation, the former guard insisted that Francis Onebe knew all about his wife’s disappearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That is when CID invited Onebe for an interview and his stammerings reportedly led to his detention.\u00a0
According to police sources, there is no second body as was reported earlier basing on a bag found in the same sceptic tank containing body parts of a woman. It now transpires that all the parts are for the late Asio, some stuffed in a bag.\u00a0It means that the housemaid who went missing at the same time as her boss is still missing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Asio’s relatives have already picked her remains from KCCA city mortuary, Mulago. DNA analysis was done by matching the tissues of the decomposed body with blood of one of Asio’s daughters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
