The Uganda Cranes braved a heavy down pour to force a goal-less draw against a physical Mali national football team in an entertaining game played at St. Mary\u2019s Kitende stadium .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game played on – artificial turf saw the Cranes\u2019 defender Murushid Juuko given marching orders for elbowing the big man Ibrahima Kone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mali fielded some top European based players including – RB Leipzig player Amadou Haidara, Stade Rennais\u2019 Hamari Traor\u00e9 and second half substitute Adama Traore who plays for \u00a0Hatayspor in Turkey and all caused \u00a0trouble for a relatively young- new look \u00a0Cranes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uganda Cranes \u00a0now coached by \u00a0veteran -Milutin \u201cMicho\u201d Sredojevic -who says Uganda is his second home have registered two draws in their two opening games in a tough group for the 2022 Qatar World Cup . The next qualifiers will be played against Rwanda next month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the world Cup qualifier Uganda also showcased the Ugandan made Kayoola Diesel Coach – luxiour highfloor bus -the only one of a kind in east and Central Africa- after Fufa entered into a mutual partnership with Kiira Motors to transport the visiting Mali national team for all the time they were in Uganda .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
