The Uganda National Meteorological Authority has issued a warning about Strong winds around the Lake Victoria area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The winds expected from week commencing 25th July are likely to blow off rooftops, uproot trees and cause structural damage, along with others.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Currently the winds experienced on Lake Victoria are southerly winds of around 15kts but will increase to more than 25kts and large waves of more than 2 meters ,” a statement issued by the UNMA and signed by the Authority ‘s Executive Director David Elweru said in part.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
