Family members told ugandaupdatenew.com that Lutaaya,died after a long illness. Lutaaya excelled at the Africa Cricket Club (ACC) in early 70s that helped him to join the national team and was involved with the sport for well over 16 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He then took-on sports administrator serving as ACC general secretary in 1975 and Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) general secretary from 1975-1982 and chairman from 1982-1992. He was National Council of Sports (NCS) general secretary from 1992 to 2003. In 2002, Lutaaya received the ICC Life Achievement Award. In 2019 UCA honoured him for his outstanding service when he turned 70 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
