Minister of Information and National Guidance, (NG), Ms. Judith Nabakooba has called upon Ugandans to emulate the legacy of the fallen religious leaders, Archbishop Emeritus James Odongo of Tororo Archdiocese and the late Head of Dawa at Kibuli, Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata to foster meaningful democracy ahead of the 2021 general elections .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c These were outstanding leaders that worked hard for their faith, people and country. I call upon all of us to respect the legacy of these great Ugandans. Let us keep away from selfish political speculations and propaganda, \u201c Nabakooba rallied the country and added that Sheikh Muzaata never kept a grudge against anyone even when he disagreed this them .

She said that Ugandans should rise above \u201cour political differences and put peace and national unity first.\u201d The Minister while delivering her weekly press briefing , called upon all political actors to say no to any form violence during this elections season .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe riots that we witnessed and the unfortunate loss of life and property should never happen again.\u2019 Nabakooba was saddened to note that police has continued to register cases where people are being targeted and attacked because of their political colors and beliefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
