The Chief of Defence Forces, Gen David Muhoozi, has said that late Shaban Bantariza was \u201c ideologically deep\u201d and urged his comrades in the armed forces to keep the good works of their fallen colleague . Gen Muhoozi who said he trained with Bantariza called for patriotism and service beyond self which Batariza fought for all his life .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cVeterans are still part of the armed forces. Shaban and I are the same generation in terms of enlistment. We did basic training together, and that creates a bond. Shaban was ideologically deep. That is why most of his time, he was in the political education department. He would tell it as it was,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The army chief said that Batariza\u2019s death should remind the country of the danger of Covid-19.
