Emirates has announced a major boost to its service in Uganda by introducing its newest and most advanced aircraft on the Entebbe route. The move clearly shows how much the airline values its Ugandan customers and the growing importance of the country within its African network.Beginning March 29, flights EK729 and EK730 connecting Dubai and Entebbe will be operated using the new A350 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This will be the first time the aircraft is deployed in Uganda, marking a historic moment for travelers using Entebbe International Airport.The introduction of the A350 is part of Emirates\u2019 wider fleet modernisation programme aimed at improving comfort, efficiency, and passenger experience across its global routes. The airline continues to replace older aircraft with next-generation models designed for the future of air travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Inside, the A350 offers three well-designed cabin classes that can carry close to 300 passengers. Travelers will enjoy modern Business Class seats, a dedicated Premium Economy cabin, and a spacious Economy Class, all designed with more legroom and enhanced comfort compared to older aircraft.This change also signals the end of the Boeing 777 era on the Entebbe\u2013Dubai route, an aircraft that has reliably served passengers since 2015. The transition reflects Emirates\u2019 commitment to keeping its services fresh and competitive in key markets like Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aviation officials say the decision highlights Entebbe\u2019s growing role as an important hub in East Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Offering a premium aircraft on this route demonstrates confidence in passenger demand and the steady growth of travel between Uganda and the rest of the world.The A350 is widely praised for its quiet cabins, ambient lighting, elegant interiors, and advanced flight systems that improve both comfort and safety. These features have made it popular on medium and long-haul routes across the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The deployment also follows another milestone for the airline in Uganda. Last year, Emirates celebrated 25 years of operations in the country, having transported millions of passengers and connected Uganda to its global network through Dubai, using a modern fleet that now includes aircraft from Airbus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
