The Ministry of Health has started distribution of facee masks in the districts of Kampala, Wakiso and Mukono as the 3rd<\/sup> person succumbs to the novel deadly covid-19 pandemic .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement , issued by Minister of Information , ms. Judith Nabakooba ,  called upon the residents in Kampala to be vigilant and ensure that they  get their free  face masks being distributed by the local leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cVery soon, government will start enforcing the wearing of masks and there will be no excuses for not having one. So far about 8 million Masks have been distributed country wide,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nabakooba also reminded the private car users about the existing guidelines that were issued by President Yoweri Museveni \u00a0allowing only four passengers in a vehicle including the driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the political seasons heats up , Nabakooba said; \u201cwe must all actively get involved in preventing COVID-19. Let us therefore endeavor to stick by the guidance from the Electoral Commission and avoid crowds.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President Museveni has asked the Ministry of Health to have all political candidates tested for Covid-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let us be responsible and protect our people from the risk of catching COVID-19 by avoiding crowds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
