Presidential campaigns officially kicked -off with voters rooting for their respective candidates across the country . This follows an agreement among the candiates o n the campign program set out by the electoral commission (EC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President Museveni was set to address rallies in Munyonyo, while other candates who include Kasibante in Mityana, Kyagulanyi in Jinja, Muntu in Buikwe, and Mafabi in Kawempe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0EC spokesperson Julius Mucunguzi, said that the commission is now prioritising ballot paper design and printing, alongside voter education initiatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The candidates cleared to campaign are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
