The Minister of Works and Transport, Gen Katumba Wamala  has appointed a new  eight member Engineers Registration Board that will be Chaired by Eng. Dr. Isaac Mutenyo. Other members of the Board  are Eng. G. Bwanga, Eng .Dr. F.L.Kyimba, Eng .Soma Ayub, Eng.E.Bahanda, Eng. J. Timewise , Eng .Dr.E Wozei and Eng R.Namugera who will be the registrar .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Mutenyo is one of Uganda s finest engineers and is the Coordinator of a government\u2019s Uganda Suport to Municiparity Infstructure Development  (USMID ) Project that has transformed 14 municipalities in terms of instrastructe developemt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many of the 14 pioneer municialities that have benefited from the project have  since been elevated to City status and the project is now in its second phase covering some 30 municipalities and refueege hostiting districts. Sources within the Engineering profession said many engineers are happy with the new appointments .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
