At its 46th Annual General Assembly, the Federation of Uganda Employers Governing Council , has elected Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA)”s ,Director General ,Fred K. Bamwesigye, as its new Chairman. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I deeply appreciate the trust shown by members of the FUE 46th AGM. I’m looking forward to championing employers\u2019 voices,” Bamwesigye stated shortly after being elected .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Bamwesigye will be deputised by Ms. Mona Sebuliba, the Managing Director of Agricultural Business Initiative (aBi) Development Finance .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new FUE leadership takes over from Eng.Dr. Silver Mugisha the Managing Director of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) and Ms. Annet Nakawunde as outgoing Chairman and Vice Chairperson , respectively .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Federation is expected to continue advocating for policies that promote a favorable working environment, enhance industrial relations, and drive Uganda\u2019s socio-economic transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Federation plays a criucial role in represengting and safeguarding the interests of emplyers in Uganda . It provides a platform for dialogue between employers, government agencies , and international labour organisations to shape policies that support business growth and employment opportunities .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While at the helm of FUE Bamweisigye and the rest of the leadership are expected to champion innovation, professional development, and market expansion .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
