National Drug Authority (NDA) has conducted an operation in drug stores in Kampala city center (Wilson Street) and arrested 10 suspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NDA also recovered over 40 boxes of government drugs including ARVs, HIV testing kits, relabeled malaria and HIV testing kits.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Several diagnostic devices of HIV, malaria were found having their expiry dates tampered with by extending their shelf life.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Abyaz Rwamwiri ,the NDA spokesperson, this is not only illegal but dangerous business causing losses to government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
