Entebbe International Airport has been commended for the seamless handling of hundred of delegates that have been in Uganda ‘s capital Kampala to attend the three day African Union Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Department Programme (CAADP)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some 874 delegates to the AU CAADP were recorded to have passed through Entebbe Airport for the well attended summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the guests that attended summit held at Speke Resort Munyonyo were seven heads pf state , two vice presidents and the AU Chairman .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Director of Airports and Aviation Security , Eng. Ayub sooma , noted the seamless operations which ensure no disruptions to regular airport schedules . ” We remain ready to facilitate the delegates’ departures with the same precision ,” he stated .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entebbe airport now has increased capacity given the renovation and expansion of Uganda’s gateway and the staff have gained experience following the increased international events that are being hosted in Uganda -the Pearl of Africa .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
