President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has commissioned Pastor Samuel Kakande’s Temple Mount Church of All Nations in Mulago and called for strict oversight to avoid mistakes and abuse by the Pentecostal churches in Uganda<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President Museveni stated thus , “Pastor Kakande may not remember, but I had come here many years ago to your ram-shackled place. So, I congratulate you on building this magnificent worship center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is my second time here. When I came, I saw Pastor Kakande healing some people. Now I have come again. So, we\u2019re going to take interest in your healing,\u201d he revealed, signaling a keen interest in the miraculous works attributed to the church, ” Museveni stated .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President Museveni expressed the need for oversight in the healing ministry to ensure transparency and accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThose stories are there. Now in your case, if you heal, the government is a quality controller. For healing, there are professional health bodies which must be involved. This means we must get those people\u2014the ones you say were healed; we must check,\u201d the President emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf he comes, let\u2019s first get proof that he is sick. Don\u2019t heal him immediately. Let\u2019s take the biochemistry, the blood, and other checks so that we know that he is sick, and then you cure him. Thereafter, we will praise you for the miracle,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo, we\u2019re now going to take interest, especially if you get money out of it,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President Museveni commended the church\u2019s effort in uplifting the spiritual lives of Ugandans and contributing to the moral fabric of society. He acknowledged the critical role of faith-based organizations in fostering unity, hope, and social development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
