Eswatini King  Mswati III has pledged to invest in Uganda nascent automotive industry by partnering with automakers Kiira Motors to develop and produce sustainable mobility solutions for Africa .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He made the pledge while on a tour of the Kiira vehicle Plant the biggest in East and Central Africa . He \u00a0appreciated Kiira Motors” leading role in championing E-mobility on the African continent .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He reiterated his kingdom’s determination to work with the government of Uganda to promote and market Kiira Motors\u00a0 premium products – the Kayoola EVs and Diesel Coaches\u00a0 \u00a0in the COMESA regional market .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

King Mswati III was accompanied by the Minister of STI Dr. Monica Musenero and her counterparts the Minister of Transport , Gen Katumba Wamala ,Minister for the Presidency , Milly Babalanda  and Uganda\u2019s Ambassador to southern Africa ,Paul Amoru among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They were received at the KVP by the Kiira Motors Corporation ,(KMC) ,Prof Sandy Stevens Tickodri-Togboa and CEO Paul Isaac Musasizi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Uganda\u2019s automotive industry flagship -Kiira Motor\u2019s Corporation is holding the inaugural e-Mobility Expo and Kiira Vehicle Plant (KVP) Open House .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kiira Vehicle Plant Open House and e-Mobility Expo 2024 is the first biggest and most diverse e mobility event on the African continent drawing over 200 delegates including but not limited to potential customers ,suppliers investors ,opinion leaders ,media, policy makers and the public to celebration e mobility innovation and drum up the readiness of the e mobility ecosystem to meet the demand for high quality products and services on the African Continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
