Abas Byakagaba the newly appointed Inspector General of Police has made his first changes in the police command replacing long serving popular Spokesman, Fred Enanga with Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kituuma Rusoke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rusoke once commanded the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) law enforcement officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Enanga was first appointed as spokesperson in 2014 to replace Judith Nabakooba (now Lands Minister ) by Gen Kale Kayihura. He was later replaced by Emilian Kayima as police spokesperson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2019, John Martins Okoth Ochola (now retired ) reappointed Enanga as police spokesperson\u00a0and he has served for five years in that role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enanga will now serve as the Deputy Director Interpol .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
