The First Lady , Janet Kataha Museveni, has warmly welcomed the INEBANTU of Busoga, at State House Entebbe, calling her mother of the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In her remarks during the formal introduction of the INEBANTU before President Museveni and the first lady , Janet Museveni said , ‘I want to salute the INEBANTU for graciously embracing the role of serving as champion and patron of the Neyendeire group in Busoga region’<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Neyendeyire initiative is a community based organization formed by the first lady with some young NRM Cadre.\u00a0 It is focused on empowering women in a wholesome manner in health, wealth creation, hygiene, nutrition, parenting, spiritual life, and cultural norms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“It is a true saying that when you equip women, you have equipped the nation. I am very delighted that Inebantu has embraced the call to be a champion for empowering the women in the Busoga region. I know that with your oversight as Inebantu, this work will continue to grow and thrive,: Janet Museveni added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
