Just three weeks to go , the state of the art Speke Resort Convention Centre Munyonyo is getting ready to host two global events -the Non Aligned movement (NAM) summit and the G77 plus China conference . The center is set to be opened on 10th Jan 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ruperalia Group of companies chairman Dr Sudhir Ruparelia has confirmed the opening date for the facility which can seat over 5,000 people .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Uganda will be hosting the Non Aligned Movement ( NAM) summit in the capital city Kampala from 15th – 19th\u00a0 January 2024 . Delegations from over f 120 countries are expected to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the summit\u00a0 the President of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will take over as the Chairman of the organization from President Azerbaijan Aliyev of the Republic of Belarus until 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the same venue ,Uganda will also host the High Level International Summit of the Group of 77 Plus (China G77+China) in the same year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
