Jurgen Klopp has delivered an update on Liverpool attacker Luis Diaz, who has been training ahead of this weekend\u2019s game against Luton Town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was revealed last week that Diaz\u2019s parents had been kidnapped in Columbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His mother was released a few days ago and a representative of the rebel group still holding his father said on Friday morning that he will be freed \u201cas soon as possible\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diaz was left out of Liverpool<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s squad for recent games against Nottm Forest and Bournemouth. Klopp told reporters on Friday that he will let the 26-year-old make the final decision as to whether he will be involved for this weekend\u2019s trip to face Luton Town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe will not force the Luis [Diaz] situation. It\u2019s out of our hands, we are just waiting for good news,\u201d Klopp told reporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe was in training two days ago, yesterday he did a session, and he will be part of the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf he feels right, he will train with us. When he\u2019s with the boys he\u2019s fine but you can tell he hasn\u2019t slept a lot. We will wait to see how he is and go from there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe news \u2013 I didn\u2019t personally get from Colombia, I always get it forwarded \u2013 but everything that gives us a bit of hope is good. We are waiting for really good news.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Thiago, it\u2019s an ongoing thing. We aren\u2019t putting pressure on him but we expect him back in the New Year. We can\u2019t wait to have him back, he\u2019s an exceptional player.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mo Salah \u2013 who has already created 22 chances in the Premier League this term<\/a> <\/strong>\u2013 has been in stunning form at the start of this season after he was linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League in the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Klopp claims he \u201cdidn\u2019t think a second\u201d about Salah leaving Liverpool during the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMo Salah is here. He never told me he wanted to go and I didn\u2019t think a second about it,\u201d Klopp said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe is here and feels extremely well. He is in great shape on the pitch and he\u2019s in even better shape off the pitch, he\u2019s really positive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe enjoys the company with the boys and wants to maximise the potential.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
